Help installing gauge cluster LED's
#21
no, I have not done this before, but I have soldering experience. If I had a tC, it would have been done already. The hardest part would be taking everything apart.
I'd be willing to do either install, provided the owner releases my liability. It also wouldn't hurt my feelings any if you told me to take a hike.

I am trying to picture how this is all going to work. Just say 5 of us show up. Do you think 1 soldering iron is enough? Just need everyone to take everything apart for the install?

Ok, I just read the article and now I am scared . I think I will show up to the party and help you guys out. Once I see how its done 1st time maybe I will go do it on my own at my own time .

The worst thing I've seen happen in all the threads I've read about it is cracking that damn LCD screen on the center console. If someone knows how to use a soldering iron more delicately than I do... then let's git er dun!

Well I know I started this thing, but I can't do this now The company I was working for shut down and now I am on the job search again, and possibly won't be in Colorado anymore in a couple of months. I'll keep ya'all updated on what's going on!

I'm a programmer...video game programmer to be exact, so I'm looking for a game programming job. I am working on some freelance stuff that may or may not lead to me working from home, we'll just have to see what happens!
