Something happened to the tail pipe just off the muffler. As in it's missing. I don't know if it fell off, Broke off, or got kicked off.
I had the Dealership order a new one. They got the wrong one. They have no idea what part number it is or how to get one for a RS 2.0. It comes stock withthe RS 2 xB how can they not have a number for it!!!! I didn't put it on there, Toyota did. But they Can't tell the dealership anything about it.

I'm F'ed for the car show tomorrow.

If anyone can find part numbers for this kind of stuff can you let me know what it is so I can tell them.

 

Isn't it the DC sport exhaust.. What fell off?

 

frosty, if you want, you can drive over to my house tonight and pick up my stock axel-back...we could take a peek at what might have caused it..I'm guessing that the muffler came apart just from getting banged around.

 

Yeah, it's the DC sports one. It's still works it just cut's off right after the muffler. Like 5 or 6 inchs from the back of the xB.

you know, I'd just go to a muffler shop and see if they can weld on a new tip. I bet it would be a lot cheaper...

 

Cheaper then free? Warranty is covering it. But I would be worth it in hindsight.

I'm surprised that it wasn't welded on to begin with! It must not have been though, or it wouldn't just fall off!

 

It was welded. You can still see the weld makrs on the muffler. Where it is now I don't know.

 

WOW - if they are going to warranty that, then that's REALLY COOL! You're still more than welcome to my stock axelback while you get it all worked out...

YEAH pass cause you tip is your whole car . just go ! what size outlet is it , how long do you need it to be ? might have one here at work , or go to an exhaust shop they have them !

 

Oh geez...do you think anyone will even notice on that bright yellow box that your missing your tip, if they don't even notice that big ol' ding in the side of my car? LOL C'mon Frosty, don't let it ruin your fun too...
Just make the rest of it SUPER clean and shiny...they will be blinded by the light, and not even see the tip is gone.
