Nope, I have a $2,500 deduct. and Ice is right...

They obviously need to re-engineer their recall, it dosnt stop the edges from raining bodily harm down upon you

OUCH! Dude! That is hard core. I would talk to the dealership. Mine is covered for 5 years.

OMG Hax!
I would SO tell the dealership that they need to fix that, (as it is a known problem with the tC's), and there is a Toyota Service Bulliten (TSB) out for that specific reason.

I think the only thing the recall was supposed to "fix" about it was that it would make it more like safety glass, and stop the glass from hitting you when it broke, but I don't think it was meant to stop the problem from happening at all...

Were you driving when it shattered? Hope you're OK?

Hax, the dealer should cover you. I wouldn't sweat it too much. But sorry nonetheless that happened, hope you're ok

So, you didn't have the deflector in the up position when it happened?
Wonder if it has something to do with the heat we've had lately too...Maybe that film they put on when they did the recall got too hot or cold or something?
That's just weird!
