My 2006 xB
Finally got the new ride on Oct 31st... yeppers, she's a Halloween baby.
Just wanted to post some pics and some info about the 2006 xB model.
First off, they had to cancel my Leather Steering Wheel - seems that the new electrical harness (for the iPod Stereo) also has a new upgraded AirBag that doesn't work with the current Leather Steering Wheel that is available. Also, the xB is the only one of the three car lines (xA, xB, tC) that does NOT have the radio and iPod control buttons available on it's steering wheel.
Other than that, so far it seems identical to my wife's 2005 xB.
Onto the pics:
10/31/05 - Picking her up - all nice and stock:

11/1/05 - Tinted Front Windows, Removed Rear Logos, put on the 1st Decals:

11/5/05 - New Head Lights and Tail Lights:

JDM Black - Dual Halo w/ Blue Xenon Bulbs

Smoked OEM
11/16/05 - How she looks right now:

Hope you like the pictures...

To each his own... I'm looking at the fact that I have a brand new car in Colorado that I just picked up in time for snow season (i.e. Sanding Trucks, rocks, etc.) and I'm not looking to have my front end all chipped up before the summer. Plus, growing up as a muscle car builder and enthusiast in the late 70's - early 80's (before the 'investors' priced them out of range) I am somewhat partial to old school styles (i.e. Bras, Moons Dual Exhausts, Hood Scoops).
As far as Rims - maybe eventually - by why waste rubber that doesn't even has 1,000 miles on it to drop $1,000+ for rims and tires?
Like I said, I'm partial to the full racing moons and it definately sets my car apart from the pack. I'll probably run bigger rubber on the factory rims once before I seriously even consider buying new rims.

Unless you get a clear bra they do more damage than good. They hold moisture and dirt on your paint an they always move around a little making tiny scratches in the paint. After a while water gets into the small sctatches and when it freezes makes hairline cracks in the paint. That is why I sugest getting a clear bra.

Actually, that use to be true...
Bras are now made of a 'breathable vinyl' with a wicking finsh behind that doesn't allow moisture to get trapped behind it.
I've washed it with the bra on and checked later and it was dry as could be underneath.
I appreciate the information though - trust me, I did my homework before I purchased it.

Thanks! I like the moon shoes too!
