Default new ideas from a newb

OK. I've been spending alot of time on this site and instead of thread jacking I'm starting a new one.

My fist sugestion since my memory is horable. is start a mailing list (e-mail) of all upcoming events locations to remind everyone like a week before a event so we don't forget. (I really wanted to go the apr. 22 meet but forgot)

My second is that there is alot of skilled and non-skilled owners that are all willing to help another scion owner in need. so lets get a list of guys that have experties (in any field) that would be willing to help others, myself would be on that list.

I'm still really new to the scion club and everyone ive met and talked to is awsome and would be willing to anyone in anyway when I can and I know there is lot more like me.

Just wondering you guys agree and am just trying to do what I can to help.

welcome!

as far as events, most of them make it to this board sooner or later. give out your email to all of the clubs, and you have a pretty darn good chance of getting that reminder email.

sounds like you're offering to help out, and that's great! everybody can use an extra hand!

cool thing about the scion scene is that almost everybody i've met would bend over backwards to help a brotha...

We have access to a lift if you feel like driving to middle-of-nowhere Wyoming, lol.

I would love to give you hand tomorrow or monday if you want. I do have access to a lift but unfortunatly its at my work and its hard enough to get time and approval for my own vehicle .

but if you want do it the hard way on the ground with jack stands I'll still give you hand.

thanks for the tips everyone.

Actually there is a website out there doing it

www.scionetics.com

They have a calendars for clubs that email you to remind you of the event if your on the mailing list and the club puts the event on the clendar, check em out

I am not really and expert on anyting. My back ground is Structural engineerng. Unless you want to put a wood structure on the top of your scion, I am really no use.

I am moving to a house with a huge garage though. It has air conditioner and heater. The bad thing is, I dont have a lot of tools. One day I will install a lift in the garage.

if you watch trucks on the spike or spd tv they have one that slips under your vehicle only like 2500.00 cheaper than a hydr lift in your floor . but if youre lowered ummm

Im up around 104th and 1-25, westimister, thornton area. way north of castle rock.

lucky for all of you I have no life and if its on my days off I would be more than happy to drive to the other side of denver (with directions of corse).

I've had my tc since mid january and today I finally hit 1700 miles. pretty sad. I love my car but live 3 miles from work and get out of home like 1-2 times a month. please give me something to do.

Off topic_ I'm selling my trd exhaust for 300 bucks if interested e-mail me.
