ScinergyCO 4th Annuall MT. EVANS Drive!!!!!
Hello sorry it took so long to get this up but here it is. It is $10 bucks to get in the park from Echo Lake don't forget that. I can't believe this is the 4th yr already. Hope to see everyone there. Dont forget you coats and cameras either.
Once again we will meet at the gas station right by Bandimere Speedway then travel up Morrison canyon and on into Evergreen and then continue from there up to Mt. Evans and then head back down and grab some lunch.

Sept 2, 2008 - The top 5 miles above Summit Lake closed for the 2008 Season.
The top 5 miles will be close to motorized traffic on September 2, 2008. The top 5 miles will remain open for hiking and biking (no motor kind). The first 9 miles from the entrance to Summit Lake will remain open until close by bad (snow) weather or until October 1, 2008 which ever occures first.

Yeah, that's how it was last year also.
I heard they re-did the roads up there though...did that site say anything about that? I hope so! The roads were pretty bad last year near to the top (before the closed portion), where there were lots of really deep ruts...especially bad if you are way low.

Hey all had a great time yesterday on the drive. Weather turned out to be outstanding once wwe cleared the super fog. LOL! Hopefully we'll get some pics up here soon.. Hope everyone had a great time.
