Scion Evolution Regional Club Thread
Recently, the club sections of ScionLife have gone the way of the dodo. This thread will allow members of this club to discuss any club-specific activities, events, and issues etc. Of course, normal Scionlife etiquitte is requested.

Scion Evolution - Evolve Beyond Normallity
Scion Evolution was started in early 2004 with the idea of establishing a genuine Scion enthusiast club in Southern California. We were all part of the very first Scion club in Southern California and wanted to take this to the next level. Unfortunately, the current club we were in had different philosophies so we had to part ways. After a few brain storm sessions and sleepless nights, we were ready to EVOLVE BEYOND NORMALITY - Scion Evolution was born.
The club began with roughly 20-30 members. Today, SE has over 1000 registered members and is expecting to double that by the end of 2006 and beyond. We are in 28 states with over 38 official chapters nationwide. There are several more chapters coming soon and will keep everyone posted.
The way we envisioned this club was to get everyone involved as our statement says. Be it stock or wild, everyone that owns a Scion will be accepted. We wanted to run the club independently as well and wanted 100% control. We decided to not have any dealerships be exclusive to the club. Rather, SE will work with all dealerships that would like our help, be it with promoting the cars or helping out in a grand opening event or provide a pool of owners for a focus group. For this reason, the club relies on membership dues as we are not financially backed by any corporation or dealership as mentioned. We wanted to have members be equal and there was no hierarchy. Each chapter that has started up has each respective chapter liaisons. So if you are new or have been in the club since day one – we are all equal in say. As members of this club, you determine the success of this organization. We are here to support and help out in any way we can, but the bottom line is that the enthusiasm and dedication of all our current members is what makes us a success.
Scion Evolution is a global club with chapters now in Japan and Puerto Rico. I have recently started this chapter in Colorado during the winter and now that spring is upon us I would like to start holding events, yet not limited to only SE members, but SE Colorado also loves getting together with other local clubs to make major events! No competition here, you can be in as many clubs as you want and still be in SE! You can always check us out at our website, www.ScionEvolution.com
We are proud to say that currently we are the largest and most widely recognized Scion owners club in the nation. We have been blessed and our accolades are very much noteworthy. We have been mentioned in quite a few publications, either online or on print.
The dues are as follows:
$40 for a single membership
$60 for a couple membership
And an annual renewal fee of $20 per person!
With the dues you will receive a t-shirt, car decals (choice of colors), and other Scion goodies sponsored by Scion Corporate!

Tony(Cherrybox), Nick(Chipzxb), and I have been talking about doing a "Wash Away The Winter" meet, the first of it's kind. Where we all get together and wash out cars up really nice, share wash/wax tips, and then possibly cruise somewhere....maybe have a BBQ to bring in the new season of shows and events!
