you could always get a wireless usb card for the computer and then put the modem next to the 360...unless you don't have a wireless modem but the wireless network cards that plug into the usb can be bought for like 20 bucks on ebay and work great. (mine's a netgear)

ps - hi. i have a 360 but no games lol...i play halo2 like a crack addict and i use gamefly so i usually only have games for about 2 weeks before trading it off for something else

well i have an old modem i got from verizon when i had dsl, lemme check and see if it has an "input" besides the phone line...if it has a standard ethernet cable input i'll ship it to you if you want...i just got fios so i don't need it anymore

 

hey man there's no input on it, but i hooked my ethernet from my fios router to input 1 and it seems to be sending a wireless signal out to my cmputer...if u want it just lemme know...hell i'll even throw in my usb network adapter for a few bucks since i just wired my living room in network cable

The 360 links up when I run it from the Cable modem but when I run it from the router I get a DNS failed. What the heck is that and how do I fix it?
