on a side note... i busted my moonroof yesterday tring to hook up a bike rack. doh! any idea what that piece of glass above the backseats costs? how hard is it to install?

Denny, just to give you an idea...i hate to break it to ya...but just the wind deflector glass for the sunroof cost me roughly a lil more than $300, but supposedly that piece really costs about $400....(dont ask me how my pops got that price, i know nothing about it, lolol)

BWT joe it is somewhat recommended u upgrade the motor mounts though... because of the vibrations coming from the BS area it can become somewhat intolerable...BLAH.. its comparable though to some extent to a FW upgrade...

 

i got a call from kevin... apparently toyota only sells the rear section with the plastic railing that goes under the assembly. I think im gonna go with trdsparks on this one, but once it stops raining and all ill double check how its set up back there. Hey joe.. did you guys put it in? or did someone else do it for ya?

and what exactly did you guys have to replace again? the moving piece or the rear section?

 

its super simple denny.. just takes a few minutes stripping the headliner off once u have that off its cake.. 4-6 bolts and ur done... you'll be amazed how this car is held together lol

 

imma take a guess and say those 4-6 bolts are either.....12mm or 14 mm, haha
