when i was driving, water temp was fine. no sounds were being made besides metal expanding when i turned off the car. when i left the meeting and came outside, i checked the oil. levels were fine (it was kinda dark because i'm almost at 3k miles again), but it was full. coolant was fine (it didnt smell like coolant - i would know, i blew the radiator in my last car in that same street light). radiator didn't have any leaks.
the only thing i can think of is maybe the brakes on that side heat up so much they smoked like that. ive never seen that though and ive driven MUCH harder than that. i'll probably take it to the dealer in a bit just to make sure everythings cool. gotta love warranty. lol.

DURALAST FTMFW!!!!!!!!.......my opinion would be ur brakes smoked up a lil....it could be the combination of the new pad with the same rotor u were running metal to metal with...wen u saw the smoke did you brake really hard??

yo joe... did u read the TSE thread.. apparently... the guy trying to catch me was boosting 17lbs lol.... that was the slowest 17lbs of boost i ever seen!! he musta had a a hidden FMIC like the subys do under the hood lol

cmon guys... you know me. if i had my new rotors and pads on, i wouldn't be braking that hard! lol. look at my exhaust... i didnt drive above 3k rpm until after breaking it in. who breaks in an exhaust? haha.
this was DURALAST pads and toyotica rotors. i did feel the brake pedal feel mushy before i stopped at that light. i guess that is possible. i'll drive it normally on my lunch break and make sure all is well.
and pete, i thought you may have got em back! those were pimp. i thought they were the evo's cuz of the 5 spokes - i dunno, first thing that popped into my head.
