they give you "seudo" sponsorships for the most part
meaning the sponsors will give you a highly discounted rate on the part
if you place top 3 at a show, they reimburse you (there are a few guidlines about how to prove you were at the show).. the show has to be so big and you have to attend so many to maintain that sponsor
