Denny, how'd the tuning go?

 

hey guys... sorry i couldnt make it lastnight... things got crazy and the waiting time was insane. i was there from like 4pm and didnt leave lastnight till 2am. No excuse... sorry i missed out homie.... hope you had a great time.

The tune... First off, kikos a super cool guy. i enjoyed talkin to him and he knows his sheit. Andre the guy that actually did the tuning was awesome... knows his sheit too. Heres how my night went.

Got there at 4pm and waited around till andre got outta work. apprently he had 2 other guys to tune so i was third up. The first guy was an old school supra... but he only made about 407whp. the second guy was an ae86 with a fully built 4ge... final dyno was 457whp at 24psi. thats what took forever... cause the were tuning the car from scratch. I didnt get on till about 12.

First issue. apparently the harness for the fic i bought wasnt wired right. the issue was that we could see the maf signal coming into the unit, but nothing leaving it to go back to the ecu. so we ended up scrapping the fic w/harness and i purchased a maf sensor and harness for the emanage and tuned that. we were able to get to 306whp at 12psi, but the 12 isnt constant. my wastegate is too small to handle the psi so it goes from 12 to 10 to 12 till it finally settles on 12. reason for that is cause it keeps opening up from too much pressure. only fix would be to modify my current mani with a pipe, welding the internal wg closed, and adding an external wg. that will be later on.
