i doubt it was salmonella. i'm sure it was probably just food poisoning...everyone and their mother removed those tomatoes from their menu's, etc, so that they wouldnt be liable in case somebody gets sick and sues them.

dont even know, had them 4 a while now.... ill just get the new digital kit for 100 bucks w/ its tiny ballasts lol.

Let me explain this lil problem about HID's i know because I sell them.

Hids are plasma gas that ignites to give that super beam of light. your car gives out 55W and hids work on 35W, now that is the problem. The ballast has to turn down the wattage and the relay that internally within the ballast. Every so often the ballast will perform a test when signals are bouncing.

If you realize sometimes depending on the car you drive and the way its wired you alyas have one hid go then the other never both on the same time, and sometime it flickers once, that is the test that the ballst does to prevent a leak from the bulb.
