Can I get any kind of usb wireless adapter for the xbox 360?

or does it have to be a specific brand?

I'm gonna set it up to join my WEP encrypted wireless network ^^ So I can finally use xbox live.

what router do you have?

 

d-link 525 or 626 something I believe. I just got it off ebay a few days ago.

I think I saw it on the list of acceptable routers to be flashed, on the dd-wrt website.

I'll have to check the exact model when I get home, and verify its supported.
