My tranny is screwed in general. 2nd to 3rd grinds above 3000rpms, and my syncro for 5th gear doesn't exist, so I can't shift into fifth.

Liz, before my 5th gear started having problems it would randomly pop out. Then it got worse shortly after. Make sure your not leaking any tranny fluid, not likely, but just make sure.

On a side note, do you think this would benefit us with aftermarket clutches?

I get the new wastegate diaphragm this thursday.

So that means i'll be tuning the apexi boost controller for an hour or two thursday night.

I'll be boosted in time for friday, WOOOT!

Hopefully my street tune can give other tuned turbo tc's a run for their money, lol.

well, ive got the act HD clutch and pressure plate here.. ive had it for 2-3 months now.. lol

Im still debating if i should go with the after market flywheel though... all in all.. the install wont happen till late nov- early dec

 

hahaa.. if i could homie.... if i could... at least one of us could enjoy it.. lol

 

I also was considering not getting the lightweight flywheel but then I thought.

True you have to rev a lot more to get the turbo moving from a stop with the LW Flywheel, but the rest of the time your in motion its helping, so its a pretty good trade off.

Hey Denny, just a quick thought, if you plan on buyin a lightweight flywheel....try to do some research on it, because i remember hearin and reading somewhere, that lightweight flywheel with a turbo setup and cause stallin....but i cant remember why it was a lil more noticeable on a turbo then just any setup....

But if you have ever depressed the clutch while you were moving and the car was at about 4k or something like that...well the rpms bounce wen they hit idle and hit real low....with the LW flywheel, the revs would drop so fast that the rpms would hit so low on the bounce causing it to stall....

Again this is just something ive heard....I dont wanna scare you or anything, just saying to check it out before hand if you decide to get it...

Check it out pimpin.......its more of driver adaptibility for the stallin....but check out wat enginifeer (sp!) says about boost....
