Okay....so what do we think is better: once a month? or once every other month?
Maybe you guys should start a poll. I'll support either one.

He meant the 2004-07 xB's are retired...

ANYWAYS,

I think once every other month would be better. It would give people more time to do other mods to their car, and possibly get more Scions involved...

I would just excpect a little more variety at car shows, even if its going to be once a month, and that being the case, were going to be having a car show for the same scions, the same people are going to be winning.... Just doesnt make sense to me... And if you do otherwise, than hats off to you, i missed out, but I dont see the purpose...

Im not arguing at all, just trying to proove my point... So dont get all worked up over this... I have nothing against any of you guys... Just hope you understand my perspective, and respect it...
Clint, you'll be getting to see the same Scions over and over at shows locally, that's the way it is. You will have to travel to see different Scions. Personally I like seeing the same cars, that way I can see what they have done since the last show. plus these people are friends of mine, and it doesn't matter what club or what people they hang out with, I'm just happy to be there with them talking to them.

as for the same people winning, that should make you (not meaning you in particular but peole who feel like you) want to step up your game. When you go to big shows like HIN, there are repeat winners. Jay Laub and Tom Reece win over and over at HIN shows, and I'm sure people get sick of seeing them win over and over but until someone creates a car that can stand out more then Jays or Toms they will keep on winning.
It really depends on how much you really want to win. but if you make this about winning and winning only, you will loose many friends along the way. A trophy isn't worth losing friends.

and as for the sponsorship hating here, don't be mad that Clint got a sponsorship. every single person here as just as much chance as getting sponsored. Obviously Clint had a really good sponsorship request letter detailing what is done and what is going to be done to his car, and the letter stood out. We get tons of sponsorship requests at my work but we look at how well the letter is written, detailed descriptions, pictures, and so on. Just like the same people winning the car shows, step up your game, you do that then the sponsors will take notice.

ok, I'm off the soapbox, sorry about that.

lol bill it isnt even about hating on a sponsor and if you have a "sponsor" make something of it not by sitting at home and doing nothing but post on here about how you are supposedly going to a show sponsorship is cool for some and if you DONT go to a show you will never win so a sponsor is a waste of time if you dont use it to your fullest and as for myself i love the fact of not needing or wanting a sponsor it is OWNED by me BUILT by me PAID for by me and what good is a sponsor if you dont show your ride??? oh and by the way yours is looking good bill

Haven't seen Bills ride in a while. By the way did you get my sponsorship letter? It was written in crayon, and mostly stick figures.

Thanks James, the box has much more to go before I'm happy with it. you how those never ending projects are, never ending.

Clint has a good thing with his sponsor and he'll do the right thing. I support Clint (BTW Clint, I'm working all this weekend over here in Holly Hill if you want to come over), hell I support everyone, but we can't give him a hard time if he doesn't go a show, the man has to work. I understand that, no work no money; no money no car. Sponsors will let you know if you are not doing what they want.

i have no beef with him but the thing is get all the sponsors you want but if you keep complaining about being and seeing the same cars and people dont bother saying you are going to show i have never said i didnt want or like for him to be there just dont talk ____ and then not show and say i didnt want to go because it was going to be the same people there its like WTF....... if you hate seeing the same people over and over why continue to post and associate yourself with them and then talk about them when you dont have it in you to even show up enough said im done with the topic of him wether he comes or doesnt i wont lose any sleep
