Default Anyone in Central Florida w/ a Blitz SC on a xB automatic?

Would really like a 10 minute ride before I buy. I'll fill your tank and buy you a cheesburger - Wheeee... I have a 06xB and had driven from Ocala to Memphis - Wow! what disappointment in power+cruise control+hills. I love the car, but something has to be done. I'm going to have to make that trip a couple of more times and want to do the mod fairly soon. I liked the bolt-on and go of the Blitz or the PE300. Give a shout if you can help! Thanks, Mark

I would recomend getting to other boltons first, first being a Lightened crank pulley, & then header. I know that some companies (cough SuperFa cough cough) are working on N2O systems, which will be cheaper & get to about the same power.

For $3500, you can get most all of the boltons & a Camcon, on top of a 25-40 shot N2O kit.

I need a constant stream of power - Imagine traveling through the mountains... N2O wouldn't fit the bill - TC or SC only...

If you drive through Atlanta, drop me a note. I will have mine on by Sunday (I hope).

Zach: I'm "diggin" your paint! All the boxes in Ocala are stock box motif... Hollywood's too much of a haul (4hrs? one way). I'm working on something else that may answer some questions for me....

Baine: I just drove though (around) ATL last week. It was 3am in the morning, I should have called!

N2O (if setup right) will be more of a constant power adder than S/C (drains power from crank) or Turbo (lags). for a motor this small, IMO N2O is the best bet, until you build the bottom end.

umm - it's 850 miles to Memphis from where I live. When I said constant, I speaking of length of time and distance, as in, miles uphill. I think your confusing constant with consistant... uh, nevermind...

Well if your going to Exposed, the xB you want to see might be there and Hollywood is a stone's throw away from the stadium.

Em-de-em let me know what you find out. I would like to put the PE sc on for more constant power also. I will already have I/H/ E on before the S.C. , but I still want more constant power. B

Whelp. I'm not going to Exposed, but I am going to try and make it to your clubs Saturday meet (on the advice of Superfa). If you can, send the particulars - I guess I'll be coming Turnpike from Ocala...

I found, through someone that was "very" helpful, that it's still not an exact science (ECU wise) and that when Blitz/PE/Greddy says "complete kit", that means that you're still about a $1000 short from doing a complete job. I may have to wait to see what shakes out in the months to come as far as, someone hacking the OEM ECU. I've done alot of reading and talked to a few people and I've come to conclusion that the tech for the bolt-ons is still in it's infancy (for me/for a daily driver/for a long distance trip car)... My car is only 3 payments old and I don't want to bung it up for the remainder of 45 payments If you have any questions, let me know...

I will have my Xb back ( maybe ) on Friday with the blitz sc installed and I will let you know if it was worth it or not. I am not sure about the 10 minute ride and burger for now. Look us (the orlando crew) up at Exposed in a couple of weeks.

Well, I can't make the Exposed event - are you going to be at the Dynasty meet on the 7th? (I forgot they meet every 2 weeks...)...

OK, you do have a point. You might just want to get used to it.

Hope to get a ride in it when you get it back. Very curious to see how the car runs with the auto. I know the Blitz sure does look sweet.

Dyno numbers are always cool, too. Who's doin the install?
