For those that dont know. I was involved in a hit & run Saturday while in Miami. Unfortunatly, the intake got smashed and stalled the engine, so I couldnt chase after the guy.
The hit came from a 2-tone red/gray S10. Right on the front drivers corner, where there is basically zero protection.
As of right know Im waiting for an adjuster to give me a damage estimate. Its sitting at a shop in Hialeah. Looks like the hood, driverside fender, bumper, grille, and headlights need replacing.

dang.. that sucks.. hopefully, you'll find that S10 so you don't have to pay for any insurance deductible

 

Doubt they will ever catch the guy. Waited around for over an hour for the cops to show up.

I'm really sorry! =( hope all is well. if you need to rant about the stupid hit and run driver... i'll be an ear for ya. i hate hit and runs. i saw one happen and i chased the person down got the tag number and went back to help the victims. got to talk to the police and everything! we got her caught... and she was arrested that day!! i wish i was there when it happened i would have tracked them down for ya! good luck buddy. miss ya! still have your DAZED AND CONFUSED movie too =) >^__^<

 

Ouch--sorry for your grief. Heard today about a lady who chased a hit and run driver down. She wound up being run over and dragged for 2 miles to her death. It ain't worth it........

It isnt the fist time ive wrecked down there. Some old lady cut me off next to the Home Depot on 49th street. Cut across 4 lanes to get into the winn-dixie and I t-boned her Impala. That was when I had my J30.

that's why i don't like driving down there. you pretty much hafta live down there and get used to it. but it's too crazy for me. i drove down for the SCION AT SOUTH BEACH EVENT, i made it back okay, but it was a bit crazy. better my scion than Clint's though.
