hey im looking for someone that did there own and thinks they are good at this that wants to get paid to do mine. the problem is mine is already painted and done really ____ty so whoever it is will need to sand down the old paint first and then repaint the pieces. anyone want to help me out here?

or even better anyone kno of a shop down here that will do it. Pref a place that wont take 3 weeks....

ya i already talked to them. not interested in losing all my interior pieces for 3 weeks for 375 bucks tho lol.

rather do it myself again properly for 35 bucks and in a day or 2

eh im just looking for a plain all glossy black job tho nothing like serious.

i just suck at taking the pieces out last time i got 1 vent out good and the other the whole vent part came out with it and i messed it up

 

same thing happened to me.........and those arent cheap neither, thier like 70$ a pc. try some of the local body shops, they might be able to do it for ya!

 

If you sand it properly and apply the coats of paint properly, I don't see why you can't do it yourself.

A body shop will charge you the same as King Pin when it's all said and done or somewhere close to that.

for dry time, i have the gun and can get the paint but dont have a booth so it takes around 8-10 hours to handle

 

o snap cuz i already ordered all these spray cans lol...

alrite so if i dropped it off to u in a MORNING like early morning i should get it that night or next morning?

 

yeah i could get it done in a day or 2, is it already painted but messed up? do i need to prime it? it all depends on how good you want it to turn out, spray paint wont come out as good as paint from a gun

 

ya its messed up i had bought some 320 grit sandpaper adhesion promoter, paint cans and clearcoat cans... idk

what would u charge me for u to do all ur own work instead of using my stuff. im doing ALL gloss black.

 

i charge 60 for the waterfall, radio door, shifter trim and cluster, but thats not including paint

yeah the 60 is with sanding and priming, do you have pics of what all needs to be done?

it will probably be like 10 or 15 extra, i live near fort myers so you would have to drop it off around here, so let me know a few days in advance when you want it done so i can pick up the paint

 

ASAP is the best. ill throw u more bucks if its a good job. just 1 more thing can u help pull the stuff out i have really bad hands lol
