Default Fair Priced (Central) Florida Dealer?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a Scion dealer in Florida, preferebly Central Florida to buy an xB.

I will pay MSRP + Destination Fee. But I don't want to pay any "dealer fee" or "documentation fee" mubmo jumbo (or any other fees that are tagged on).

Any suggestions? Any good dealer experiences to report?

Thanks in advance

i'd try Toyo/Scion of Orlando on West Colonial.
that's where i got my xB and they gave me a better
price that Central Florida Toyo/Scion didn't want to give me.

family and i have had probs from oil changes to pricing
over at Central Florida. i went to Toyo/Scion of Orlando
yesterday for an oil change and there were a couple of Scions
on the lot with a few drivers. good luck.

Thanks for the replies so far. I already have been to all the Orlando area Scion dealers. Just to give you a heads up of what I have found so far:

1. Their prices are not all the same. They differ by as much as a two hundred bucks. It all has to do with the "Dealer Fee" or "Documentation Fee" which is not the same.

2. Some dealers have offered to write a check for some portion of the dealer fee. In other words on paper I pay the full dealer fee but in reality I get some of it back (although not much).

3. My parents live up in Philadelphia. Up there the destination charge for the xB is $100 bucks less than here and the dealers charge no dealer fee. This adds up to around a $700.00-$800.00 price break if I buy it up there and drive it down (which I'm seriously considering).

I'm willing to buy a car anywhere in Florida as long as I can get a $400-500 break on what seems to be the going "pure price" here in Orlando. Otherwise its worth it to just buy it up in Philadelphia.

The big question is, does anybody know of a dealer somewhere in florida who is willing to give a good price?

Thanks again for your replies

I got mine from David Maus Toyota in Longwood, great people there. Dealer fees weren't that bad and they didn't try to hassle me at all.

Well good luck finding a dealership thats gonna waive the dealer fee. I went to Toyota of Orlando to have them look at my tires, it took them an hour and a half just to look at them and then they left my car outside with the windows open while it was raining. W. Colonial doesnt sell that many cars..so the chances of them waiving any fees is highly unlikley. Ive had lots of expirience with CF Toyota. They've given me HUGE breaks on pricing with my trade in and supercharger, did a wonderful job installing and even covered my aftermarket gauges and pod i bought for it. People at CF are more honest IMO. Anyway, good luck

If you do go to CF toyota, ask for Ryan, he's a really cool guy, i've had my car for a year and still talk to him at least once a month.

Hi everybody,

I thought I'd give everyone a heads up on my search for a Scion xB. I finally bought one from Daytona Toyota. They gave me a deal that was much better than Orlando dealers

I got an automatic with no other options for $15,630 (before tax and title). This was about $400 less than the best offer I had here in Orlando. So, in the end, it seems all this "Pure Pricing" stuff doesn't mean all that much.

Anyways, thanks for all the helpfull suggestions. Now its time to enjoy my new little box!
