FLORIDA SCIONS .... when it all began....
i thought you all would enjoy this, so i am happy to share it will you. This is just a reminder to us all how it started here in Florida,. to the newbies (2005- present): this was b4 your time, but you will understand this i am sure. to the oldies: nastalgia is a wonderful thing!
so yea i was sorting through my SAVE BOX... and look at some stuff i found:

He took on Scion Exposed 1.0: Daytona and won BEST OF SHOW (his paint job was still drying the night before when he drove up to Orlando. HE has since sold it to a guy in South Florida, and the new owner claims still claims to be the one that fixed this car up, lol, but we all know the truth.

Back when Scion DYnasty started, and we ran the website on my tiny school website. oh the good ole days!

Bill later became our President for Daytona (later called Volusia County). He has recently moved on (as all of us have) and is no longer a part of any club, b/c he wishes to share his hookups and help with all members of all clubs without problems. Bill has a sweet Scion, he is open to all people and reminds me of a sweet unconditional love puppy, loves all, no matter what.

I don't remember what this was in reply to exactly, but this guy was so interested in the rapid growth of the FLorida Scion Community that he wanted to join our club and bring to the NORTHEAST. I simply said, 'maybe', b/c i think most of us wanted to keep it local, so we didnt get too big.... go look up this guy's profile, he is the former VICE PRES of Team ScioNRG. needless to say we could never get it to work out, but Florida's Scion SCENE definately inspired him. =)

SCION EVO MIAMI - 3rd club to be established in Florida - first of the EVO chapters. remember TIBER? teh hott black sand xA with a microsoft sponsorship. he really got EVO going down here, and his xA was in a SCION COMMERCIAL.. along with ProjectFusion's xB! FLSCIONS.COM was our effort to keep all the scion clubs in a bondign freindship without competition. this way if EVO wasnted a chapter in SARASOTA.. evo woudl just respond "hey we have a sister club - DYNASTY in sarasota, so join them" adn if someone wanted to join DYANSTY in MIAMI - we woudl just reply "HEY EVO is in MIAMI - they rock - we collaborate with them a lot, so just join them instead" we had our first FLORIDA SCIONS show in OLD TOWN - 78 Scions!!! it was awesome... since then the OLD TOWN SCION SHOW continues every year, but the name has changed. and the FLSCIONS.COM project was later dropped when too many competing clubs entered the State of FLorida.

and the people kept coming... Daytona Exposed was our best i think, just b/c of the awesome CHECKPOINT rally collaboration that everyone took part in. we rolled into daytona 1 mile long of Scions! it rocked!

ah yes, the beginning of the Spread of Scion Evolution in Florida! what about that 'trikkoncepts doode'? i heard he was kinda crazy? crazy ride too! since this PM, much has changed, but friendships have not! what a great crew. and cmdxb has been a great leader and representor of the FLorida Scion COmmunity!!!
3/26/05 (right after exposed 1.0)
My reply to this was that i cannot take credit for the warm welcome, it was the entire Scion Community at that time that was so warm. everyone was all about the PEOPLE, not so much about the cars, we just all happened to like the same car. They welcomed me, they Embraced the new Florida Scion Clubs at the time. it was everyone else that made it happen. and it is true, a few of us back in 2004 started some clubs, got the ball rolling, but the ball KEPT rolling b/c of the community.
Read this a few times, remember how it was when you all first started, and never lose sight of that. B/c that is what WE FLORIDA SCIONS are all about. thank you for making my experiences great. and althouh there have been rocky roads and a few of us have hit the wall thinking it was over, it isn't. and I'm glad it isn't over, b/c its so much darn fun!!!

haha i remember that brandy... and yes zach stuff was diff back then, but if you look hard enough, you can still find the old scion community charm in lots of us.

wow, talk about memories. I remember going to the very first Old Town show stock as all get out, meeting Cher for the first time. I was all giddy with excitiment being part of a huge movement.
what happened to that time when we were all friends and were in it for just the love of a vehicle brand? I miss that, and I bet you do too.

Scion Exposed 1.0 was amazing. The ride from the automall to the track, the blocking traffic. Finally meeting people I never thought I would meet. It was so much fun. This is the stuff that I think about when stupid things start on the forums. I mean back at the beginning, we never really had many problems.
