Hello there, new to the forums....bought the very first Scion on my County in Feb of 04.

Fri Night, coming home at night, from Orlando, I hit a racoon.

Good News is, the racoon lived....the bad news....

Would this make you re-think purchasing a Scion?

 

aside the fact that the bumper is plastic?

definately not, ____ happens, but the car (safety wise) is pretty good, I tell you from experience

what do you expect? you hit a 7+ pound animal and your bumper is made of plastic. just be greatful because it could've been much worse...

 

The raccoon lived.... what an awesome car!!!! I wonder what happens when you hit pedestrians.?.?.?

 

Well, guess what I was able to pop that sucker back in place with the help from my dad, stuck my hand under there, and push it back out.

 

that will buff right out!

 

Congrats on poping it back out. With a dent like that though I'm amazed the racoon lived. LOL
