damn, that just sucks.

Neon & Scion sound alike, prolly were confused.

Flint Mica has green & pink flecks, it can look green in certain light.

Look at the side the gas door is on and the steel roof. It was a neon. Horrible accident either way.

consensus is it is a neon... but absolutely horrible. Kid didn't even do anything wrong, just the negligence of another driver. But he (the pickup driver) won't be charged, yet of course they never specify why.

Freaks me out, could happen to me and it could all be over so quickly...

Both cars are 5x100 FWD so the tC wheels fit on a Neon and vice versa.

if u listen to the video, a FHP said, the driver could not be charged becuase there was no reason why he would do something like that, its more of a careless driving and not paying attention, then trying to cause a accident in the first place.

the driver should of payed more attention, due to the fact of all that carpet in the back of the truck...that weighs you down and takes longer to slow down...

i seroiusly think he should be charged for more than just careless driving

thats why the FHP suck they know how to give tickets for everything on your car but when something is as clear as day like this they "think that they might not charge the driver of the pick up" that's BS a life was lost lets say the driver didnt see the car theres still a bus infront of you, and he didnt see that? why dont they test him fro DUI??? F*CK THE FHP!!! GOOD FOR NOTHING AND THIS IS WHAT WE WAIST OUR TAX MONEY FOR!!!

you know the driver of the truck is ina lot of pain, and i taking a beating enough by his own little jimminy cricket (conscience), if he was in fact going the speed limit, but just did not see the car due to carelss driving - then that's all they can get him for.

trust me that driver is getting enough torment in every direction!

i personally think he should get fined for the loss of the life, unintentional murder - i forgot what the actual law term is - and he should pay for the totalled car by laws of insurance policies.

but will that happen i don't know. i feel bad for everyone involved especially the family who lost their son, and all his freinds, and even GF is he had one. i don't know what i would do if ANYTHING happened to Clint!

I have seen this a lot since I have moved to Orlando when you are following a big truck/SUV and they change lanes quickly to avoid having to stop behind the bus and then you aren't expecting traffic to be at a complete stop. All it takes is for you to look at your speedometer, radio, and etc and find yourself plowing into a car in front of you.

I got in an accident similar to this a couple of years ago. I was completely stopped at a light, someone changed lanes and hit the car behind me which pushed me under the truck in front of me. I was taken to the hospitol but released later that night.

Accidents happen and it is possible that the person that caused it gets away without a scratch.

PS..... it is a neon. The fuel door is on the passenger side. Scion TC's have the gas door on the driver side.
