can anyone tell me some junk/salvage yards in the tampa bay area? i want to do some DIY projects to the TC but i want to practice on some junk parts first.

 

you'll be hard pressed to find anything on a tC int eh central FL area. I've looked for them from cocoa and daytona to orlando and gainsville and west as far as tampa. Most lots dont have them, and the ones that do are already stripped.

 

your best bet is to keep calling them, or even calling bodyshops in the area, I know of a few wrecked scions that had some parts donated to this cause..

I've bought from them for other vehicles but I do know they have a ton of autos and nice facility. Keep in mind some times when paying cash auto salvage places can lighten up on the prices they quote!

 

they actually are the ones that get most of progressives vehicles that are totalled I believe, when i worked for the other dealer, 90% went to them!

 

I've yet to see any tC's at the Copher's U-pull it on Causeway.
