parking gets better after the first week or two when people start skipping classes.

yeah, tuesday and thursday, I am not moving my car at all! It took forever to find a space today.

 

Ok... so I had class at 1130 today, woke up early(earlier) and got to school at 900... NO PARKING

I coudln't believe it... I drove around for nearly 90 minutes and couldn't find any parking. Checked every parking lot and garage multiple times and circled countless times in each garage... People were parked illegally everywhere, and parking "services" was having a field day writing tickets.

I'm seriously thinking that parking services loves not opening the new garage just so that they force students to park illegally and write them all tickets, they're really arseholes.

Oh, and that parking lot next to the West garage that used to be a green (student) lot? They changed it to faculty, probably so that they could write more tickets.

People were waiting everywhere for people to get out of class... it was insane.

Eventually I left, and parked ACROSS UNIVERSITY in that shopping plaza on the corner of university and alafaya (with Lazy Moon and Jeremiah's...) and walked to friggin school.

What a day... I'm so tired, I have to go back for a class at 6, I guess I should leave soon considering its probably going ot be rush hour traffic as well

I'm seriously going to have start leaving my house at 700 (I live 7 minutes from school) for my 1130 classes, how pathetic

I'm too tired to even be mad at ucf anymore... forget it...

 

I parked on a fraternity front lawn once and got a ticket..... I guess I was lucky that my car was still in one piece. I appealed the ticket and they didn't charge me the 40 bucks

 

I really think that there is not enough parking intensionally. We should actually do something about it and have Parking Services Screwed!

 

my girlfriend goes to the rosen campus (part of ucf) she has the same thing w/ parking

 

when I was there 2 years ago they told us that there were plans to construct 7 new parking garages in the next 10 years

 

they have a HUGE new garage in the making... i'm hoping it's done by the end of this semester

 

the construction is gettin al kinds of dirt on your cr huh

whoa, back up a minute. it was alyssa and don in alyssa bed. That's way to much redneck for this tc'r to handle, i was sitting in front of the computer in the office chair!
