Default Looking for a job.

Help people. I'm in need of a job. I just moved down here a month ago and I still don't have a job. Applied to a few places around the area but still no calls. I know a lot of details about Scions and other cars. I know aftermarket parts and their effects, for instance a turbo and how it works, what you'll need to be boosting stuff like that. Coilovers, sway bars headers, basically anything a local Motorsports shop would carry. I would also be an excellent assistant to a mechanic, help around the shop doing small things. I can wire up a system. I do all the electrical work on my car myself and so far everything has worked flawlessly, I even wired up my underbody kit to my dome lights so they turn on and off when i lock or unlock my car. I also know a lot about Airplanes. I'm studying Aeronautical Engineering at Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach. I'd love to work at an airport, baggage handler etc. Stuff like that. I speak Polish fluently and write in it decently. I live in Daytona Beach but I'm certainly open to jobs a little further out. I'd be willing to drive as far as Orlando if the Job would pay well enough. Uhm. I'm really just about open to anything. Restaurant, construction. if it pays I'm down. I am going to college so my schedule is a bit weird. Here it is bellow:

Monday-anytime after 5pm
Tuesday- Anytime after 6pm
Wednesday- Anytime after 5pm
Thursday- Anytime after 6pm
Friday- Anytime after 5pm
Saturday- Whenever
Sunday- Whenever

I am very reliable. If I say I'll be there, I will be there. If there is any scheduling problems I always let you know as early as possible. Only problem I have is that I do go back and forth to NY every couple of weeks or so. When I do I can't work Friday Saturdays or Sundays. Thanks for reading and please help!!!

yo bro i suggest going out to retailers right now...they will be hiring soon for the holidays...so you may find luck there. I doubt anyone else could hire you with your availability. Good luck. And good luck paying off that ticket!

^^ yeah I know. I've been going around to restaurants and stuff since most of them are open until like 2AM. I applied to 7 places so far. Got a couple more restaurants I'm planning on checking out tomorrow. my schedules does suck. However i am available when ever during the night so if you need a stock guy or if you need someone to work at an airport at night or hotel or anything. I'm willing to work What ever hours. Like seriously what ever hours.

where they find a job for you, look in the phone book.

basically u sign up with them and do a small test (easy) and maybe a drug test.... they find u a job, when they do they contact u and then u get hired... at that job... for like 9 or 6 months they take a percentage out of ur check from that job..(not much).. then after the 9 or 6 months.. they let u go.. and ur like officially part of that job.

pretty good deal to me when i first moved here back in um....06 i think.. i look and look for a job.. signed up to a temp agency... then did the process.... and ending up have a pretty good job that they found for me.. and today im still working there :D.. so i really recomend it :D

How about working at Publix? With the hours you have listed, you can work the closing shifts. You can fill out an application (on a computer) in the store and it takes less than an hour. It will ask you what department you would like to work and do that.

I work at Publix here in Ft. Lauderdale. Some of the management is cool and others are blah. It's just the uppers (DM's, Regional managers, etc.) that are always busting chops and it trickles down from there.

Try a CVS. I work in the pharmacy at walgreens and its a good paying job. But walgreens isn't going to be hiring for a while during our transition to a new system.

If you go into a specialty area (photo or pharmacy) you wil get paid more. Pharmacy at CVS starts at 9 and walgreens 10. Photo is a little less. Get certified (the test is easy) and you get a nice raise.

^^ I'm probably only gonna be here for another month and a half haha. Maybe another half a year but I'm really hoping not . I think that's a bit short for a serious job that they would get me.
