Hows it goin guys. In exactly a month I'm gonna be moving down to FL for school and I'm gonna be bringin my tC down with me. I heard that florida cops are real **** about tinted tails and HIDs. Is this true? I haven't had any trouble with them in NY but will I run into trouble down there? Gonna be primarily in Daytona Beach if it matters. I mean I understand that I might get pulled over for them, hell I might get pulled over for them in NY. But are the cops bound to pull me over just for that stuff or is it more along the lines of getting a ticket for them ontop of speeding or what not.

 

its not bad here.. you might get the one dick cop once in the while.. but its not big problems to me..

 

you get away with a lot in south florida

 

I have been in front of police several times and they haven't stopped me for my tailights. I did mine so dark you can't see anything during the day, but they sure do look great. At night you can see thru them just fine.
It all depends on what mood the officer is in at the time you drive by.

 

lol.. even grandmas have tinted tails and HID's around here.. shoot, there was a crew of 4 wheelers with HID's cruising last night.. you will even see limo tinted windshields!
all usually ignored by po.. if your doing something else and get caught, thats when they usually add these offenses to it.
Maybe once a year you hear about a cop who tickets for this stuff.. go to court with pictures of the stuff removed, and your gold.
I know a lot of guys never really remove the stuff and show the judge old pics of their cars,
before the stuff was installed, and go home clean.. lol

when your in a state where under cover cops are rolling on 20's, you know your good

 

yea thats what I figured. When I went down to visit the school I saw some dope cars so I wasnt too sure when everyone here was saying that cops are **** down there. I figured theyd be harsher up here.

 

i have tinted tails and HIDs and no probs. i have lived in s. florida and north FL and no probs.

 

I live in north florida I used to live in south florida and I've never had problems with cops. It really depends on where you live i think. Some people are just _______s...

 

yea dude i had tintd windows all my time of driving and just last week i got a dick cop he pull me over for having lond music and he gave me seven tickets for all the other ____ i had on my car and then on wensday another cop stoped me for my blue led parking lights and he gave me three tickets but is not bad just take it to court with some pic of another stock tc at the dealer and all tickets are drop.... just dont get stoped by the same cop again lol

 

okay so im leavin the Tints and HIDs on then. I didn't think HIDs would be a problem since theyre 6K so theyre practically white. I could prolly get away just saying theyre stock. I was more worried about the tinted tails.

 

i have 6k's and they pulled me over, another dick cop.. but luckly he couldnt find the blue in the hids... and i said it was stock.. he goes i dont care if its stock or not blah blah blah......he pulled me over i was talking to him for like 40 mins.. he talked about everything tails, leds, hids, even my green domelights inside the car.. but let me go with just a 7.50 ticket for not having my registration.. i think this was in January ...nothing like that happen again thank god!

 

greendome lights? how would the dome light be on unless you opened your car door? and even if they are green, so what? there is green in some OEM car's dashboards and instrument panel. that cop is BS!

 

Fl cops are lenient most of the time..the only time i got pulled over was for speeding, nothing wierd.
My friend got pulled over tho- for having under blue neon..hes a dumba$$.

 

yes he made me get out of my car 5 times !! so he kept seeing the green dome light lol i didnt give a ***.. everything is still on lol

 

yea dude your friend is a dumbass that's like saying hey im here come give me a tickets the cop gave me a ticket cuz of my hid they are 10000k's and they are bright right sam lol

i know a guy (burgundy tc) that drives around with his red underglow kit on... hasnt got a ticket yet... but then again i havent talked to him in awhile..

 

..I mean its a chance you take riding with blue or red..its like putting a giant glow-in-the-dark bullseye on your car.

 

yea id be paranoid as *** if i was driving with them on.. loL!.. even the green hid fogs.. make me feel a weird..loL!
