Hey I'm my tC and I are moving to the Orlando area in July, whats the scene like down there?

For sure, the Scion's scene is pretty active down here.

Haha I'm in Seattle now but I'm transferring down there for work =) I grew up between Seattle and Guam so I can take the heat for the most part haha. I'm just looking for a good excuse to bust out my short shorts and bikini tops! God I miss being warm.

 

well, it's good to hear that there's alot of scion related activity up there in orlando. I recently got accepted to UCF, so some late august, there will be another modded tC running around town :D

 

Something going on all the time here in the Orlando area. 4+ Scion clubs and meets and cruises all the time.

 

yeah, get in with Me, James, Ivan and Barry and you will forget what your house looks like

 

orlando seems to be a growing mecca when it comes to tricked out cars, and with the younger generations lookin at scions it just makes the scion scene grow. im about 30 minutes northeast of orlando and 20 minutes southwest of daytona in deltona so being in the middle of two hotspots is nice. youll enjoi orlando car shows seems to pop up almost every weekend, hot import nights is right at the orange county convention center, if your into drifting florida drift has monthly practices at orlando speeworld you can check out, orlando is POPPIN!

I do security, but I'm really going down there for school.

as for the relationship status, it goes with the mood.

I'm really excited to move, I wish I could just screw work and jump in my car and go down now. I have to repaint her and do a few other things to it before the big trip and I have to wait for work. I'm so glad you guys actually have a scene down there because my life consists of work, car, world of warcraft, repeat.

orlando are one of the the best place for having a car show/scene......its best known for having a biggest and baddest place for such a huge car scene...its keeps growing each year...... u can check some pic of ORLANDO car scene on deepvision.net they always got plenty of pics for everybody to see just like "aftermath of battle of the imports"

yeah its called cocoa beach but i prefer daytona beach. i love it how you can drive on it still after the hurricanes of 04 washed out all the dunes SUPPORT BEACH DRIVING!! its nice seeing all the hooked up cars on it then you get the occasional rice civic or tater tot cavalier

 

dang i guess a fellow washington person moving down to florida, me and my gf are planning on moving to clearwater in about a month or so. cant wait to get down there and check out the import scene and the car shows. and oh yeah the weather. lol

 

heh you might wanna think again about the weather. i mean for the most part yeah ITS FLORIDA but its been a bit rainless lately and hurricane season is in a few months, but you cant let that get you down. hurrifane futbol is a blast!
