This is Bob Harris with Central Florida Scion. I would like to have Scion meetings 2 times a month at the dealership. I would like to get more involved with the Scion community and give all of you a place to meet and talk about new events. Let me know what you think.

Thank sounds great. maybe those meetings could happen on Saturdays. It is difficult for 2nd shift people to make those weeknight or Friday night gatherings. Just a thought...

 

Just an FYI, a meeting 2 times per month would die down quickly. People will just get tired of meeting up, chit chatting for a couple of hours, and then leaving. Just my piece of advice.

 

Okay how many time should we meet? Saturday may not work because that is a bussy day, but maybe at night. I need some club presidents to get in touch with me to get it started.

 

I know in the past we an idea was tossed around about doing it every other month or once every 3 months...

no thanks you guys totally suck and thanks for the drinks at the show you just threw if we would have known that the drink and food deal was a lie we would have brought drinks of our own OH AND BY THE WAY THANKS FOR ALL THE TROPHIES

 

We'll I guess you cant ever make everyone happy. Who cares what you think though next time I will make sure you and your crew will be left out in the cold. You talk alot but you come to every show, so I guess you suck too.

lol you wish i came to every show i and others have shut your show down before and would gladly do it again as for me sucking sure but i tell the truth about your shows and they do suck you hype it up with your lies and then provide nothing for it in return big deal you should learn from other dealerships how to throw a show and as for back paddling you should look back i went to one of your shows and we took best club participation then and then me and some others didnt do your show for the next 2 or 3 so i guess I did something right because YOU backed out of the any make show and made it a SCION ONLY show so who sucks not me it is you for going to a scion only show because you didnt want to have a lot full of chevys and hondas again and no scions hence you SCION SHOWOFF the last 2 or 3 shows should have been called I HOPE A SCION SHOWS UP so shut me down for your next show wow im scared ill just make sure i post the hell out of it so no one goes again

 

Central Florida Scion Representative?

I just hate shows that are thrown to assist in sales for the dealership. Corporate Scion throw shows all the time for the owners and do it right...but they have the money for it.

Central Florida Scion Clubs aren't rivaled like clubs in other areas. We all know each other very well and work in conjunction on a lot of stuff. Being a representative for Central Florida Toyota/Scion I would think that there would be more maturity coming from you.... but whatever.

a friend of mine from high school works at
the dealership. i asked her how come there
hasn't been any recent CFT shows & what not...

supposedly the manager that was in charge
got 'layed off' or 'fired'. i'm assuming Bob is new
to this, so don't mix him up with previous shows...

yeah, free food/drinks is a plus but
it's crazy how someone who won 2 trophies
is gonna backfire and throw it in their face cause of that?

it's either don't go to the show [like you &
some others were saying...& stick with it] or
appreciate the trophies you received because
i know some people were pretty surprised as well...

some are wondering 'where is the Scion
community around here?', etc...this dude is
trying to get them together. what's wrong about that?

The show is for people to gather and bring thier scions so that they can show them off not to drive buisness. My feelings arent hurt I know there were alot of people that had a good time and that was the goal. I am tring to have scion meetings because there are no other dealers in the orlando market that are even trying to help with the scion exposure.

 

the issue is dont expect people to sit there for 3+ hours and tell them you are gonna have something and then dont if thats the case dont say you are going to have it there so we all can come prepared and not rely on the dealer for falling short of something they said THEY WOULD HAVE

 

and as for the dealer me saying they suck is MY OPINION plain and simple remember when they first posted up the show it was a open show then all of a sudden it becomes scion only because they didnt want to look like idiots for throwing a show that the scion people werent happy with and wouldnt attend in the numbers that they should have

IS THIS FOR EXPOSURE OR SALES LETS SEE HOW MANY SCIONS HAVE YOU SOLD, YEA I THINK ITS SALES. THEY DONT BENEFIT US AS SCION OWNERS THESE SHOWS ONLY BENEFIT THE DEALERS
