Hey guys, I am thinking about creating subforums for the larger metro areas... that would allow better communication between people inside the metro areas and clear up the main regional area for people from outside the metro areas to chat.

Please answer the poll so I can get a clear idea of which members are inside and outside the metro areas.

Please reply to the topic with your thoughts of which metro areas deserve subforums and whether or not you think it would be a good idea.

This is a great idea...This will make events/shows much easier to find and keep the clutter down on the main SoutEast forum.

What about breaking it down to state? I'm about 21/2 hours from Miami, 11/2hour from Orlando, 3 hours from Tampa and about 31/2 from Jacksonville. I'd rather click on Florida and see all the post in there then having to click on all three. Plus a lot of FL people go to all the big shows in FL and know each other or know of each other. I'd like to see a Florida group instead.

 

Well, you would just use the regional forum then... you are it's not like there are that many non-Atlanta Georgians that you would have to deal with.

Letting this go for a little while longer guys... I want to do all regions at the same time and some are slower to respond than others.

My metro areas came from a list of the largest metro areas in the US. That are was not on the list.

 

Tampa would cover my region well enough and suite me just fine!
At least that way anyone in the surrounding area would have knowledge of the goings-on in their particular area.
