i had such a great time today thanks to the scion backstage crew and everyone else that contributed toward the event. after all that ive been thru in the past 3 weeks from the surgeries and the physical therapy and the pain and depression, to get out of the house for once, see faces i havent seen in weeks and months, and share some laughs, really raised my spirits so thanks to everyone that came out and made my day, i couldnt of asked for a better way to spend my friday.

the new xb, i like it, feels like driving a van, but a badass van haha. i had fun with the scionic challenge testing my trivia on scions and everyone else's, i think i got a headache from the green lights tho haha. the free food was great, especially those taquitos and rockstar energy drinks. the whole club scion lounge was an awesome place to chill, meet other scion enthusiast, check out the scion forums, and enjoy some eats.

overall great day, im glad i came out today

Great times had by all, and i think that i scared the guy riding with us in the xB tester...

although I think that Joe wins "Most cones taken out" and Jorge got to test the ebrake... i would have if i would have been able to maintain traction in the front (dunno what happened, its like the clutch hung)

I had fun......I'm saying that with enthusiasm....... I'm really tired though... 10 Rockstars FTW, or at least until 4:00am.

 

ya....rockstar drinks are good...

 

i had one rock star - i like my NOS better.... i just kept belching the rock star and it tasted like cough drops - i dont dig that....

but it was awesome that they were free. i can always count on SCION/TOYOTA to pull off some great stuff for their consumers.

as for the new xB - naw - st scion south beach.. i loved it... then i sobered up a few months later, saw the pix SCION finally released publicly.. and did not dig it more (know i know why youguys say "your prettier when i'm drunk" lol

driving wise - too big for me in the front end. if i want to see the front end - i'l drive my rav4. but i'll stick to my 1st gen xB. i will be excited for people that do buy te new one and i will love to see them transform it.

the event was great. the environment Scion created was amazing.... as you can see in my pix. it was great seeing some people that i have not seen in a long time. and i appreciate you all for being so nice again. i have missed that. even saw some people that - like me- has dropped out of the SCION SCENE... but not the support scene.... we love the same car... even if its a STOCKIE... trophies are just plastic molded junk that don't mean anything about the driver - lets not forget that... and have fun always.

 

O ya and thanks to me for giving out a crap load of keychains :D

I had a fun time. I just like hanging out with everyone and checking out the rides. Props to Mike Kennedy and the whole Scion crew that put together Backstage.

I'm glad that the Scion division is doing so well, because all the free swag is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we showed that we are really one big family, that might have disagreements at times, but a family none the less.
