Directions to the Fairgrounds:

The South Florida Fair is located off Southern Boulevard in West Palm Beach, FL, 1.5 miles west of the Florida Turnpike and
1 mile east of 441/SR7.


From I-95 South:

Exit at Southern Boulevard. Exit # 68. Go west approximately 7 miles to Sansbury’s Way/Lyons Rd. Fairgrounds will be on your right, between Sansbury's Way/Lyons Rd. and Fairgrounds Way.

From I-95 North:

Exit at Belvedere Rd. Exit # 69. Go west approximately 7 miles to Sansbury’s Way. Turn left on Sansbury's Way. Go south for about 1/3 mile. Fairgrounds will be on your right, between and Fairgrounds Road and Southern Blvd.

From Turnpike South:

Exit #97, Southern Blvd. in West Palm Beach. Go west 1.5 miles to Sansbury's Way/Lyons Rd. Fairgrounds will be on your right, between Sansbury's Way/Lyons Rd. and Fairgrounds Way.

From Turnpike North:

Exit #98, Okeechobee Blvd. in West Palm Beach. Go west 1.5 miles to Sansbury's Way. Turn left on Sansbury's Way and go south approximately 1 mile. Fairgrounds will be on your right, between Fairgrounds Road and Southern Blvd.

dyltone, thanks, much needed indeed. Today is the day, kinda excited, (been waiting to try the gen 2) and I still have no idea what that xD thing is. I searched but no one has said what it is. Oh well, the deceptacon lunchbox will be there. Not in the cleanest of conditions, but it will be there. (curses to the water restrictions)

 

so what is supposed to go on at this? it is like a car show or is just showing the new xb?

It was loads of fun, some cool swag, and might I say, I have fallen for the new xB. Ended up winning 2 awards, one for the trivia, and one for the car presentation. Learned some interesting things about the new cars, but the manual of the xb2 was abused (you can tell by the clutch) Overall a good time (free food is ALWAYS a good time) and I will go to another one of these things.
