I'm on the space coast of FL but 300 bucks and a good job don't line up in paint work. It is expensive and you get what you pay for. My paint on my CF hood cost more than the hood itself! To find a good paint shop, look for upscale classic car restoration shops and see where they get their work painted. That route lead me to a great body work and painter. GL in Tampa bro.

yeah their work sucks and unless you are desperate, I wouldn't bother if they offered it free. I've seen their work and it is far worse than a 3 year old with finger paint...

It varies from city to city and shop to shop. Just call every place in the phone book and get quotes. Most shops require you to bring the car by so be prepared for a day full of roadtrips. It is a fine art to paint cars properly and the people doing it know that.

If you have friends at Maaco that will NOT do a Maaco paint job, just have them do it. The paint is the cheapest part. The labor is what you are paying for.

Can I ask where/ who did the work for you?

My girlfriends tc is in need of a new bumper and I need to have it painted and possibly installed. I'm also in tampa and trying to find a decent price for the work.

Also, can I ask where you bought your replacement fender from? I'm trying to find a good place to purchase the bumper from. thanks!
