and 05 tc are basicly the same thing as 09's... most parts can fit either car.. soo idk what ur sayin buddy.. the xb's are completely different

Just have it , tc's trophy's and xb trophy's.. and the other xa's,xd's and 2xbs.. (since there are fewer)

i know many.... its not my fault you havent been going to most MEETS...

I know the 05 is the same as the 09. I was just making the point that it doesn't matter how long the xb2 has been out compared to the 1st gen - it's possible for them to be equally modded (in response to whoever said it wasn't fair)

OK, I am still thining about things...waiting on one last thing to find out how my budget is looking...but FYI...just so you all know and understand...

Trophies honestly are not cheap...and you all know i like ot give out nice trophies...not some rinky dink plastic one's...sorry that's just me...as you all know i'm a perfectionist and what I would want I want to give to you guyz...but the last trophies were just real expensive and they took over half my budget...

So, i will go today hopefully and check some out and see what I like and what the cost is and see what else I can play with.

I can tell you all right now...without the trophies I am at the limit of my budget...so I need to see what I can work around...

Well, either way keep the comments and the ideas coming...I always appreciate it....and I can't wait to see everyone reunited again!

Oh yeah, last but not least...anyone have any ideas for a theme or name????? It's taking me forever to come up with something...and usually i get the idea in a second!

 

As far as trophies go, I agree with Jason. 1st and 2nd gen xB's should be in same category just because there isn't many that are really modded. I understand TSE has a handful of 2nd gen xbs if any, but there's no real competition there...there should be at least 10 or more 2nd gen xb's in order for that to be fair and that's probably not going to happen. but since everyone will have all their panties in a bunch, i think the best way to do it would be:

Best xB 1st GEN
Best xB 2nd GEN
Best xA/xD
Best tC
Club Participation (eventhough, I don't agree on the way this is handled. most dealers pick the winner by choosing who brought the most people from their club. which doesn't really make much sense. It really should be judged by percentage.. if TSE has a total of 50 members in their club but only 15 come to the show, and Scikotics have a total of 15 members and all 15 show up, then in my opinion, Scikotics would take the trophy...that to me is club PARTICIPATION. i know everyone will flame me for what i just said, but i'm just giving my 2 cents. I don't have any problems with any club...regardless, i could care less about this category, but just something to think about.)

the rest of the money should be spent on food and prizes. as far as theme, i'll get back to u on that one les.

 

best suggestion so far.. 1 trophy per class.. because honestly who cares and remembers 2nd place...

trophies dont need to be big either.. they can be simple plaques which might save some money also( just throwing that idea out there) or small sized trophies...

and as far as club participation goes... i think that should just be dropped as that category creates stupid childish drama and crap talk...(atleast from the past few shows ive been to)... its hard to judge based on the amount of cars a club brings because whats the point of having alot of numbers when alot of the cars can be stock... and clubs can always lie about how many members they have brought vs the amount they have..( just one point of view) or make 100 shirts and pass them around to mom, dad, abuela, tio josefa etc etc and of course that floods the look of having more ppl... (just another point of view).... flame me for that idea maybe, i dont care...

you might be able to get away with maybe best club theme... were every club makes their own theme up and participates in the best theme which would help equal out the #'s game...


either way more focus on getting together and having a good time, eating good food, and maybe play some fun games or have nice giveaways should be the most important thing...and errrr body talking and being civil....

*side note*
how about no trophies, good fun / drinks and hire some cute bikini models who walk around and take pics with each car with a first place trophy lol... like that even the stockest car can feel like a winner lol.... that might fit well with hole bondage thing suggested before.... maybe some of these dudes like hot bondage chicks lol

 

Ok, peeps...to just follow up on the few last things said...and just so you all know right up front...

1. Thanks for the insight when it comes to the trophies...I still need to think a little but I'm gonna see what I can do about that...

2. As for club participation just so you all know...the reason why i ask you all to fill out the registration forms is so you list everything on your car for the judges, which of course makes things easier for them, and so they do not have to guess what you have but if you all remember, I do have a place and ask what club you are affiliated with...THAT'S WHY IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU FILL THAT IN....only 1 registration form goes to the owner of the vehicle...so depending on how many say, Evo, 1up, etc etc that is how I Personally judge who gets the award for Club Participation. So, since every Scion is accounted for, and I pretty much know the owners of every single one...i do go around and count how many and which one's they are. So, that's an FYI for you all

3. Sorry no sexy girls in little thingies walking around taking pictures, personally don't get me wrong were it Carmen Electra or Christina Aguilerra no problem...but i've been to plenty of car shows and the stuff these girls don't wear are killer, since girls do come to the car show I personally take offense to it..sometimes depending on their wardrobe and the uummm how can i say...stances they like to take on the cars, which are SHOCKER...and pursuant to Management there are kids who show up...from our own employees and it's not something they would want their kids to see...so in that respect...I'll leave that to another dealer but ain't gonna happen here kids...sorry no offense but per Management rules it's a big NO NO

Maybe I can get some firefighters to come out for the ladies!!!!!! hahahah that would be a trip, awesome but I bet you guys would HATE me!

i agree with BadS33d and TcPete on the combination of the xB's........
and the fact that these trophies dont have to be fancy. lets focus on the fact that we are there to have a good time....... good food and good music goes a long way.......

so why not set the theme up as a reunion of sum sort... just a thought though.......

and how bout we set the date for march 15th.....

 

OK, I can't do the 15th...b/c it coinsides with the St. Paddy's Parade show...and I know some people will be going to that...so as of right now what I am thinking is Sunday March 22nd...so please mark your calendars Ladies and Gents.!

There are a few things I need help with so if someone would like to volunteer to JUDGE that would be sweet, (pending final approval), because I will have someone test you, also please be advised if you JUDGE you CANNOT participate in the show, in other words your Scion cannot be part of it...SORRY!
