Very few get nothing but a bunch of cheap ugly vinyl and if you want that I'm sure Don can get you a good price on it plus his vinyl adds horsepower.

I got a 50% off discount for some underbody lights. but that was all. you don't get anything for free...you just get a lot of discounts which is considered a sponsorship. I can say honestly i didn't think my money was wasted...

instead of payin, come up w/ a good letter, and contact business' and ask for discounts for the parts in return for exposure. as time goes by and ur car gtes parts others will come. u gotta work to get a free sponsorship.
i've seen some of those cars from the websites and they dont look finished and guessing not getting the parts for free, mostly at cost.

A friend of mine got a sponsership for his Civic they gave him 12000. He has to go to two national and two local events. So far he's got a cabonfiber hood, trunk , vertical door kit, projector lights and a few other things.

nope they are ____! best results.. get your own sponsorship. get a relationship with a company. ask them lots of questions about their product. what they haev that you could put in your car... talk them up - dont be fake. say wht you beleive. tellthem why you like their stuff and what you plan to do with it. get that relationship.... then you can either hope they automatically get interested... OR just ask them about their sponsorship program and hwo you woudl love to represent them.

that's how i got a sponsorship - it worked for me, took a lot of pateince, persistence and time... but i was very nice, very proffessional and i talked business as well as personal things. i told them how i FLET about their product and what i wanted to show the rest of the car show community with their product.

also one thing i did that also worked for me - i noticed pioneer needed a car under their booth at NOPI Nationals 2004 - i happened to have an avicN-1 in my xB - so i sorta went up to them and said - hey - i got an xB witha full pioneer stock install and i have an Avic N1... so i helped them out, i got them a car for the show! and an RS1 xB at that (which was really hott at the time)

if you can do something thi wiggle your way in, maybe help them out or represent them in anyway - they WILL help you out if they are cool enough! if they are jack@$$e$ about it - then you don't want to represent them anyway!

hope that helped ^__^ good luck!!!

i agree...not worth it...more of a scam IMO...be better off writting a letter with a detailed list of mods and your intentions and how the company benefits from sponsoring the vehicle...

theres no such thing as a FREE sponsor you will always have to give something to gain something...those that expect something for nothing are not going to get far..
