Fellow scion owners!

It was decided at the shows to post this on Scionlife and other forums all over the net to get the word out in the nationwide scion community about the theft of an awesome item that had been donated to the Atlanta St Paddys events over the weekend of 3-14 to 3-16 with the hopes that the person that did this will be "called out" for what they really are!

Thanks to Boxrod and Bride of Boxrod of ScinergyGA/ATL, they had arranged to have an absolutely beautiful, one of a kind custom commemorative pinstriped panel donated by talented and renowned pinstripe artist Brian Pappas to The Atlanta St Paddys weekend shows that benefited the "Cruizin for St Judes Childerens Hospital Fundraiser. This Item was to be auctioned off Saturday night.

We had this board on display all night Friday at the Meet & Greet at Malibu Grand Prix without a problem, and then again on Saturday night at the Toyota Mall of GA car show where it was blatantly STOLEN. FROM WHERE IT WAS BEING DISPLAYED.

With all the tradgedy that occured over the weekend with the Tornadoes, nickel and golf ball size hail storms, damaging winds and storms we had to endure in Atlanta over the weekend , The owners and dealerships were absolutley awesome and the show went on as the show locations somehow dodged the devastating weather.

But Having this item ripped off was a horrible capper to all the other BS we had to endure over the weekend.

While it is hard to belive that an actual participant of the shows did this,
it could have been an employee of the place, a spectator, or whomevever. It is being posted on here to make the folks in the Scion community aware, and with the hopes that this thing may show up somewhere & the person who did this "called out" for what they really are "a common thief who will steal something from sick & dying children"

We hope whomever did this will at least send a check to the St Judes Childrens Hospital, (highly doubtful, as this person obviously has no conscience).

We are asking the Scion community to keep an eye out on ebay, craigslist, or even car shows if the person is actually stupid enough to use it, for this panel and if it is spotted get the word out in all forums who this person may be as we definately dont want them to be a part of the Scion community.

For all those who attended and donated or gave at the shows we did raise $1449.00 over the show weekend for St Judes, and you are all awsome and thank you!!!!!!!

On behalf of all the clubs that attended this event, Scikotics, Scinergy, Scion Evolution and ScioNRG, thanks for keeping your eyes & ears open, and lets make sure the person who did this is no longer, or never will be, a member of the scion community.

Best of Luck, I totally feal your pain.. Similar thing happened to me at one of my shows...... but it wasn't for charity, it was an item stollen off a new car on display! and not replaceable..

This may be working,

I just got a phone call from someone from SC with the last known time the piece was seen inside the service bay (between 9:00-9:20 PM) and description of a person holding and looking at this piece, and ID of who it may have been,

I have made a phone call and a am awaiting a response. I will keep everyone posted!!!!!!

So much for me unpacking all the show stuff today, I will work the boards untiil it is found!!!!!!!!!

you know, i hope they dont destroy it! maybe give it back unonomous....

I kow you all want to banish this person, but instead give them a chance to fess up or something like that..

I am not picking the theifs side, just trying to get a precious piece of art back. Cause if they know its them, and we are all talking about bannishment to the depths of Hell, I would be scared poopless...

I have posted this everywhere I can imagine...even in Scion Evolution's Hawaii Forum...and I even have members from all over helping...PLEASE EVERYONE...hit your MYSPACE pages, every forum you can imagine where you do not see it posted...hit every mean you can..and let's see how we can all help each other out.

It defintely is a precious piece of art and I just hope that the person has enough common sense to not let a rash judgement stand in the way of doing the right thing. Like Brandy said...IF YOU DID MAKE A WRONG DECISION PLEASE MAKE THE RIGHT ONE AND RETURN IT IN ONE PIECE...take it to a dealership with a letter attached to it...or call someone or pm one of us and just tell us where it is...so it could go to it's home and help the children...please!

 

Everyone knows who we are, from our handles, our names, etc. If it shows up anoymously to anyone of of us, thats fine & dandy.

If it was stolen, the person needs to be banned from the community, everyone knows what this show benefited, if it was a mistake, and someone packed it up in the big show rush, come forward and say so, no harm, no foul!!!! Just get the piece back and as Ivan said in the E-group, auction it off at Exposed

Scikotics ATL and Scinergy ATL worked tooo damn hard to put on one of the best shows in the SET region to have a dark cloud of this missing plaque leave a bad taste in everyones experience.

Mother nature did a great job herself leaving lots of black clouds over ATL for the weekend, we cannot control that.

If someone did rip it off they "should" be scared "poopless" cause if it ever shows up, or whatever you have alot of people that want to know why??????

We may carry diferent stickers on our cars, and bicker at each other, for petty stuff but at the end of the day, we are "family" with our scions, we have the same passion and love, and I think we all know that!!!!!!!!! and we will back each other up, anyday and anytime. It was SHOWN THIS PAST WEEKEND

All I can say is taking that art piece from the kids is very low, a person like that needs to be banned, I support that completely, If this was a honest mistake then step forward if not, I never wanna see u face to face. excuse my behavior to all sl members,but the kids are to important to me, I have 3 & I can not imagine what the parents are going thru at st. judes, besides that, I wanna give my up most respect to Scikotics, Scinergy, SE & all clubs that supported st. judes this weekend, this is the reason why all clubs are getting big because people can't help but reconize the good in these clubs. much love!!

My biggest worry is that it will be sold to some poor kid that did not know where it came from and he will get the brunt of the community for no reason!!!!This was on display at the meet and greet and no one touched it!!! It was left on the vender display area in the dealership where anyone could have taken it!!!!Please check even ebay so this guy can't make money and hurt someone else

 

I'm just sickened over this. Lets keep our fingers crossed that this turns up.

Keep looking...sooner or later this person is going to slip and it will be found!
