Hydroplane > Scion tC

On my way back from the Stuart show, it was raining and I hydroplaned into a Buick LaSabre. I'm okay and so is my car. She was to my right, I hydroplaned, spun at her and hit her on the drivers side with my front, then she skid and hit the wall with her front. Need new bumper, fenders, headlights, hood, underbody panels, and grills. Coulda been worse, I guess. Huge thanks to Pat, Chad, and Heather for sticking around in the pouring rain and having my back. Hopefully I can get the tC up and running soon. Also, I was driving about 5-10 mph under the speed limit.

 

damn it sucks to see that u were the only rs tc huh? i was looking at ur car when i was at the show well atleast im glad to hear ur ok... iyeah it was raining bad i thought i was gonna loose it too out there but look at the bright side now w/ ur insurance u can always get an after market front end

 

yeah, and 2008 projectors. bwahahaha. jk. we'll see how cool the claim adjuster is...

there was a red rs at the show! luckily the supercharger is okay ;-)

Sorry to see an RS down, glad ur ok and the car will make a comeback better then it was before. That rain on the way home was a beeyotch, I had a corvette almost take me out...

 

yeah man i was right behind u i saw that... man ppl must not like u on the way to the show and back u got cut off a few times.... must be a box thing

 

I was going north through that rain and iw was like hitting a wall, you couldn't see but a couple of feet in front of you.
glad to hear you are ok and no one else was hurt.

yea right.. if we went chances are he would have crashed with one of us....lololol.... i dont think he would have walked away with out some injury if that happend lol
