Default Sub compact racing for S. Florida

I really want to develop a sub compact, affordable race scene (legally) in S. Florida. I was looking at Moroso's road course just because it's all I know of for space down here. But anywho, I'm thinking affordable racing events for anyone with a sub compact that wants to run, Ford Festiva's even (whatever). I'm thinkin rules and classes, enough homework that Moroso itself would schedule it into their calender at some point. Spectators etc.,. I havn't crunched the numbers and probably shouldn't just yet because i'm sure i will be missing something. So, I look to you peep's to help develop the idea and possibly getting something going, non-SCCA. Unless the "SC" meant sub compact. Scion xA's & B's, fits, geo metros, yugo's, 1st gen mini's.. everything else small, boosted or N/A. Any thoughts would be great, I just find myself fustrated finding an outlet to run these things around here without it ending in red and blue lights.

Her's what moroso wants for club event track rental.

It's been a dream for me to ride on a track on a regular basis, but I have given up on this dream because it turns out to be too expensive... I don't street race, but I love driving. The problem is that the blue/red lights also causes the daily drive to become a little more expensive than my budget permits.

Anyways... if you are looking for autocross, I know a group that races once a month in Hialeah for $30 a day. If you are looking for an actual track, have you tried Homestead? I heard that they have something there.

If you get this going, let me know.

About $150 per person if 40 cars, about $250 per person for 25? Somebody help find a lower cost place for "affordable legal race"

I think i'm just going to run auto cross with the gulf coast autocrosser's. Cone course, but already set up and only 30 bucks to run all day (at least 3 runs). I still would love the "official" roadcourse, but its too expensive. I'm currentl working on an okay from the SCCA to run the box, and should have that on Monday via email. I guess this has been an issue at some events running SCCA rules because the box is not on the ok list. When I get the confirmation email from them I will post it up for others to copy and hopefully they will be able to run where currently not allowed.
