Here is what I offer (all flat rates):
Diagnostic:
$60 (To find a problem with the computer, does not include repair but can be applied towards repair)
Computer Infection Removal (Includes Hardware Diagnostics):
$125 (virus and/or spyware removal and it includes repair to the operating system (up to the possible point of reinstalling the OS)
Backup of Data prior to any other services:
$50 (only documents/pictures can be recovered, and if the hard drive is bad or failing, its possible not all data can or will be backed up)
Hardware Install:
$25 for memory (up to 4 sticks) and it includes running a diagnostic on the memory only to ensure that its not bad.
$50 for any other hardware (which includes testing and ensuring that it works.
Networking:
$25 for setting up and securing the router, and if you have DSL you will need to provide the main user account (main email address) and password (cost does not include the price of the router)
