hotchkis > stechs or htechs!!!!!

any day... scraping is just one thing.. but when u travel 40 miles /h on a road and there is a normal size pot hole front of you and you hit it..... eveb with hotchkis you will cry for an off road TRD package. stechs? no way!

 

I'm glad I went back to stock suspension ^^

 

yeah. i know how comfy is, because i drive my brothers stock tc once in a while... but a dropped car looks soooooo much better. and it handles better too.

im sorry but thats the stupidest thing that I have heard today, well today started an hour ago, so rephrase, STUPIDEST THING I'VE HEARD IN 2 DAYS!

if your driving for 40 miles and you hit a pothole it has NOTHING to do with your suspension, Hotchkis will not magically make your car go SpeedRacer status and use it's built in lift kit to throw you over the pothole, thus protecting your car.

If you pay attention to the road you'll be fine, besides Hotchkis is about the same exact drop as H-Techs.

 

BTW Anthony start thinking of places to get that photoshoot together, I wanna get that done with a nice group of cars in a couple of weeks or a month maybe, (More cars the more secure it'll be for everyone involved i believe)

correctamundo joe dizzle... the spring rates on the stechs are alot looser which is why ppl sometime get a more bouncier travel on the shock tube VS the htechs...

 

actually serg. to some extent hitting a pot hole can adversely affect your suspension... determined by the speed and the depth of the pot hole and the angle in which your rebound outward goes you fall into a pot hole thus dropping your wheel at such a rate in which on the rebound motion to compress since now the car has to compensate for 2 different heights, your spring will compress even more and the shock travel will increase. if the shock travel and impact is great enough you "can" blow the shock which is something that happened to me originally by accident...

so yea avoid all death traps in hialeah or suffer the consequences lol....

 

my point was hitting a pothole is not a direct link to the fact that you have h/s techs, if your careful driving you shouldn't have an issue whether your chevy riding high or SLAMMED like cory.

lol give it a couple of days, them _____ss gonna have to settle a while, 3-4 days, so don't freak out when you don't notice a huge difference
