5k is pure white
6k slight blue tint (most favored and preferred)
8k bluer tint
10k deep blue
but sometimes different companies have it differently

go 8000k and up.. my 6000k.. i dont see blue at all..

What my boy did with his Red HID's is that he put them on his highbeams, that way he didnt have em on for DD at night and avoid a ____load of tickets.

 

have them for like your fogs so u can turn them off.. not for ur headlights but like 8000k .. for ur headlights.. or do what serg said.. put them as ur high beams

 

i want 6k for lows and yea, maybe red for highs but 3 weeks till I get it back

 

yeah its pretyy much just like that except i dnt carry 5k mine are 4300K. but dnt even worry about the temps just let me know what color you want and i can hook u up. the custom colors like dark blue, yellow, purple, pink, or green go anywhere from 20-35 more. green being the most expensive. if u just wan a nice dark blue it will run u 20 more.
and sam i always offer 8000K because those are the most common ones so they go for 100.
n mario if u get red hid's you ___ will be on fire with the cops lol go either for fogs or high beams. if not, you well get a ticket 4 or 5 times a day lol

Or what you could also do is keep your stock lights and bake the headlights, my boy has it on his s2k, he has a red film lying inside his headlight so the bottom of his lighting lights up in red and the actual cutoff is the stock bulb....
