It's 28% up front and 18% in the rear with 18% front strip.

those are exactly what I had installed on my NBM. You really dont notice the tint % difference. if i had the choice id go 15% all around.

ya 28% is the legal tint...but i supposedly got 20% but when i got stopped by the cops...they said it registered 11% so ya be careful the tint u get will look darker..cuz the FM is a dark car

ive got a little laminated card that I keep in the glove compartment. The card says that the tint shop takes full responsibility for any tint that registers as illegal. They only install legal and lighter tint so they don't have much to worry about and it gives me that peace of mind that i can just hand that to the officer.

can anyone recommend a good tint shop in the fort lauderdale area?
also what's the lowest you would pay before you thought -hmm, that price
is just too good to be true, they must do a crappy job.

Mine is 15% all the way around and big glare strip. I got pulled & ticketed 2nd day, was told 28% on front 2 doors, back can be spray painted if you want. That's what he said to me. My tint is the same on xB as it was on tC, from same shop and all, but darker on xB since it's BSP and no full glass roof. Color of vehicle really does make a difference.

I personally run 20 on the sides and 5 on the hatch. I've never had a problem with it and i have a FM. I live not that far from Ft. Lauderdale (Delray to be exact) and i got my tint done in Boca. With the 5 on the hatch, be sure to always take a second look when backin out at night.
