Tires in Palm Beach

Let's preface this with saying I know absolutely nothing about car modding, tires, etc. beyond what I've read on here over the past few days.
I've been wanting to get nice rims and tires for my 05 xA for a while now. Since I need to get new tires at the moment, it seems like the best time to make a change.
I know the standard xA tire size is 185/60R15 and that hardly anyone keeps that in stock. If we wanted to get a diferent size, what would have to be done (lowering, shims?) and what's the typical cost?
Are there any good places to go in the West Palm Beach area that might be able to help us out?
Alternatively, anyone know a good place to just get good cheap tires that won't rape me on tire or alignment cost?

I was talking to the guys at Wheel Expressions on palm beach lakes just north of Okeechobee, I ended up buying online but they mounted and balanced the tires for me. They had the best prices I could find locally...
