i took this pic at Battle of Scion... who owns this car? i want to talk to them about the c-pillar install. i just ordered one so i have questions on notching the c-pillar and this person has the cleanest install ive seen yet, so i want to steal it.

everything ive ben reading says no, it doesnt really do anything lol. but i got it mainly cuz the back seat is no blocked off anyway due to the NRG harness bar, so why not? suspension points ftw! lol

r u putting a harness on that c pillar bar?? if so.. thats a FAIL move man... and that NRG one be careful.. already had someone on another scion forum snap it in half after getting in an accident.

what brand are yalls c-pillar bars? i got my megan one in and kinda installed but it doesnt look like yalls lol... the reason i bring it up is cuz im trying to get it perfectly straight, every time i look at it, it looks just mildly crooked. i wouldnt really care, but im afraid that when i go to cut up my c pillars it will become a lot more obvious....

 

so does the c-pillar bar get in the way of rear passengers at all? ive yet to see a picture of one installed with the rear seats up!

 

im pretty sure they have it sitting RIGHT behind the back bench so people can still sit there

 

mine is right infront of the headrest so a person could sit in the there fine, but not if the seats were reclined.

my rear seats are coming out soon for the stereo so it doesnt matter.

i think they would be mildly annoying to a rear passenger but nothing that couldnt be delt with for short drives.

 

its the bar where you hang your clothes on when your coming back from your dry cleaners...

the bar mounts to the bolts for the rear seat belts.

 

i use it to hang cloths and as a sideways stripper pole... very functional IMO ...
