I'm not going unless my car is done... very doubtful of that happening since the LSD is half way in and the axle's still have not arrived. Not to mention the motor isn't in the car and the standalone harness hasn't been started and etc...

 

I don't think I'll have my car either unless golden eagle does a super fast turnaround. I wasn't to sure if I was going but it's looking more and more like I will. I'll leave and come back the same day. I might meet up with the Orlando crew and the caravan. I'll keep you guys updated.


AJ, is that's all that's left to do with your car? How long has the axle taken cuz I know they say like 10days? Will it be ready by the end of the summer?

 

The axle's got delayed by almost a month because of driveshaftshop's machine shop vendor was behind. The axle's should be back any day. They are not the cause of my not being ready though. Like I said earlier, my transmission is in a billion pieces waiting for shim from California, the motor still is not in the car, the wiring harness still needs to be built for the engine management and none of the fabrication has started for the turbo kit or manifolds.

I hope it will be done by the end of summer.

You know... still waiting on the monster to get completed.
I wish it had been done a year ago, but if it was, it wouldn't have done right. So many new parts that will make this build complete are coming out every day.

Those coming up from Ft. Lauderdale will be going to Orlando on Friday and leaving from O-town on Saturday with a much larger caravan. We are also coming back the same day but some of us are staying in O-town until Sunday.

A one day drive to and from J-ville is brutal, especially considering that you will be out in the sun all day for the show and activities. For your own safety I would reconsider that idea. ..

 

yeah i was thinking the same thing it would be killer just going and coming im mean iv driven to NC w/o stopping once but thats just it i didnt stop im gonna be out in the sun like u said... i might just go w/ u guys and rent watch a movie or two and sleepp in my car cause i have no moneyz for a hotel stay... what time are u gonna start headding over to o town? and also if u can pm me ur cell ill just call u up or soemthing... so i know where ur at... i dont know if u remember that we met once i have the 2tone xb w/ the staggerd wheels im friends w/ clint that has the rs3 green...

well i might go w/ the ft.lauderdale crew on fiday and leave orlando on sat to go to the show cause if u think about it the show starts like at 8-9:00 but u have to leave wpb like at 3 am just to get there.. if i go on friday ill just sleep inmy car and watch a movie igot tv so thats not a problem and just head out on sat morning...
