I will be the first to say, I've complained about shows in the past. But I havent participated in one since my first complaint. I've been as a spectator to a few. And dont see the reason behind these dealer shows other than the 30% increase in store-ups. Carshows are a good form of advertising.
But for the few that are still demanding experienced judges, you wont be getting them from a dealer show. I thought you wouldve figured it out by now.

It's not even worth getting worked up about it. I knew it was pointless when the guy asked about my car and i told him " jdm.. " and saw his face ..then heard " whats jdm ... " .. wasn't even going to continue. No big deal.. i don't expect some judges to care or even know what it...

Have a judge that actually looks all the way around the car....i have an exhaust that may be one of a kind, but can never get credit for it
I never get hyped up cuz i know i wont really win, but love goin anyways cuz you always get that one compliment from someone, lol...but for sure maybe a tech who has worked on this cars before may be better judges

you know with the comments that the handfull of you posted about how "lame the show was" really discoureges a majority of the dealers to have any more scion only show.... so please keep that in mind when you all are talking this stuff up..

ps my first show that i did i had 3 people show up to... then 10 the next time, then 20 then 30... so please don't knock it. and btw, i judged everyone, and one. learning more each time, so be nice, we are all still learning how to judge without the background that major carshows have.

you don't learn to judge. it's clear, common taste that these employees that judge lack. probably cuz they're all over the hill and don't care for cars. you get someone with a sense of style, common sense, and you'll have a deserving winner.

if dealers never know how bad their shows are... how do you expect them to improve?
having unhappy ppl should give them more motivation to learn form their mistakes and make the next one better so that they have more happy future clients.

^^ why in the world did they have a sheet of paper with things to look at, and they looked over each car so thourghly that they bounced it to see if the suspension was done... but then completly disregard all of that when it came down to who they awarded places to. odd
