What do you guys want to see for the FR-S? Do you want an affordable intake? Affordable Cat-Backs? Looking for some feedback before we start our R&D session. Thank you!

Yes an affordable intake would be nice, $350 for tubing and a filter seems like a lot. Something for $200~ish would outsell everyone by far.

There must be 23894 exhausts already out there, some fairly priced too, not sure what anyone could offer that would be different.

Gauge pods? I havent been able to find anything specific to the FR-S.

and personally, id like a carbon fiber lip spoiler but i realize that has nothing to do with drivetrain and power lol

I hear ya on the intakes. SEMA is next week and I am sure alot of new items will be released and available. Right now, it looks pretty sparatic as what is actually available. Intakes will be on our list of parts to develop.

As for the gauge pods and the lip, that is something we could get done too. Thanks for the insight.

In the meantime, if there is anything else you could think of or anything you need, dont be afraid to hit us up!

My biggest concern with intake development to this point is I have yet to see and intake that calms the air near the MAF with Air Straighteners like the OEM intake does. The intakes that are working are the ones that utilize the factory air box. Seems the norm, I kept the OEM box on both my 06 WRX 350WHP 333WTQ wagon and on my 300WHP 265WTQ 2001 Honda S2K.
Some of the air boxes I have seen and read about are causing bogging issues. I don't think it's a grams per second ingestion problem. In my opinion it's a turbulence issue at the MAF. I challenge any that are doing R&D to prove me wrong at this time.
