FR-S’s interior cockpit instantly exudes a “sports car” feel. The front sports seats are shaped to
accommodate manual shifting and support longitudinal and lateral G-force. The leather
wrapped 3-spoke sports steering wheel, utilizes the smallest diameter in the Scion lineup.
The idea of “Pure Balance” is further realized by FR-S’s lightweight design and compact size.
This allows the car to be quick and nimble into and out of corners. This combination is further
proof that Scion is truly “Bringing the Sport Back to the Car.”
The FR-S will be available in seven colors including Raven, Asphalt, Hot Lava, Argento,
Ultramarine, Firestorm and Whiteout.

^^ I know, I would kick myself if I bought a tC2 and didn't know at the time about the FR-S or didn't wait for it.
Different target audience I suppose. Yes it's a RWD sports car but fits in the same line body/price wise as the tC2.
- THE JOE (that would be cool)

Where did you hear that? Toyota doesn't have another car in the tC's segment. I doubt this is the end of it unless sales numbers are seriously tanking. Not to mention the different price point, potential buyer, and car type.
Not take over as in the tC goes away and is no longer produced. Take over in terms of being the "face" of Scion. The tC was the cash cow for Scion. Now it's going to be the FR-S.
Cannibalize in terms of business... You and I know the difference between these two cars, but the average consumer may not. Trust me when I tell you many car shoppers ignore the driving wheels.
There's only a 20 hp difference. Both have a 6 speed. Similar MPG numbers. The tC comes with bigger stock wheels?? Add a spoiler and few other things to a tC and the price won't be far off either.
They both have their place. I just feel these two cars should not be on the same lot, with the same badge. One of them should have been a Toyota.

Should of priced it in the low 20's and just destroyed everything
Face is scion is done, esp with the other car companies stepping up there game.
Dont forget about the TT Velostar
The fanboys will be all over this but theres a lot better options for the price
I remember hearing low 20's when it first came out... One word for it... depressing.
