I think the reason for the multiple comments on the back seat is that there IS a back seat that has no function.

^^ the backseat in this car is just a place to throw a gym bag or something like it. It's just a storage area, unless you have tiny people for friends to put back there..

Which is why I say it should have been a shelf, not a seat.

For some perhaps but my first and biggest complaint is the lack of hp and tq. What worries me most is that with the FA20 already producing 100bhp per liter, it won't be easy or cheap to add power. The 2AZFE produced only 67bhp per liter yet IHE only added ~20 whp. The FA20 screams out for a turbo.

Trust me you will love it, I test drove the auto and manual they are both great. Feels like I am driving an expensive Lamborghini cause the paddle shifter lol

isn't it more expensive for insurance on a 2 seater vs a 4 seater?

congrats man, i picked up my fr-s saturday as well. a full size man would have to sit cross ways. i had my son driving with me he's six and he had to sit crossed leg. i have just under five hundred mile son mine but it seems like the motor is opening up and more power is being felt.

you also going to appeal to a larger base of people if its 4 seats and ot 2. even if it does nothing for the car but helps sales

Didn't think about insurance. I guess the "seat" is a good thing after all.

All I can say about the back seat is if you have kids or want more then one Peron to tag along with you then I would not recommend this car. Its like 370Z with less power and no back seat. Bad way of puting it but that's the truth. Its big enough to throw a small cooler with a few beers and a gym bag other then that do not except a 3rd passenger.

Its based on how expensive the car is, and even MORE importantly, its all statics by actuaries. IE: Rate of stolen cars, the area you live in, frequency of accidents, alarm system/lojack, and is it garaged. The other thing is YOUR record. Do you speed? totaled any cars? DUI? ect ect.
