Made the jump from tc2 to FRS

thats going to be a really biased question at the moment, (obviously its a new car and a reason why i traded in)
But the car overall feels really good, driving normally, you can tell theres an enormous difference in handling. and the gearbox feels a lot better and shifts feel smoother. (altough i did learn on the tc2)
A few things i do miss about the tc2.
Alot of the small luxuries. roomier back seats, the split folding back seats. the center compartment. (which i thought i can live without, but it just takes getting use to after having one for so long) the sun roof, (i loved having some light pour in) The steering wheel was thicker on the TC and felt like i can grip it better. This i think is just getting use to.
FR-S though has been putting a lot more smiles on my face, which i can only attribute to the sensation while driving, it just feels real good, its weird.

I am under 25, the tc2 was my first vehicle (start of my insurance history)
no accidents / tickets.
I was paying a lot for insurance though to start with, 1000 for 6 months on the TC2
and it went down to 800 for 6 months
So its a 200 dollar savings for me. (although i know its still expensive) -_-
How does it compare Power to Power? That is one thing I have been reading a lot about.
Where in NY you at?
the red won me over instantly when i saw it in person next to the white.
the hoodline on the white shows more.
they're both great colors though
Thanks everyone

My tc2 was stock, power, acceleration already feels better. (the rwd helps with the "feeling") but i havent taken drove it fast really. still breaking it in

Mine insurance went up just a little. I had a hard time trying to get insurance for my FR-S because it wasn't in their system. lol
Break her in. Once you break it in you will feel how well the car handles. Did you set your rev light and your gear display yet?

1000 miles, im only at like under 200. The urge to rev pass 4000 has been strong but ive been resisting. but omg, i want to.
How do i set me rev light? i set my gear display (and by that i mean i turned it on so it displays the gear im in) I have never had a digital display telling me what gear im in, and i dont ever see me looking down at it. lol

Same here, i was thrown off when they kept asking me about airbags and where the airbags were.

Im from the bronx in new york and i ordered mine like 4 days ago..they told me 6 weeks till the car comes in. i have a black tc2 man tranny, with 19000k on the car..they gave me 15500 on my tc2 and i only owed 9k on it. I was gonna get white but i agree that the red just stands out to me. I want to make my red look like the 5 axis concept that came out last year. theres a few out here in the bx already, theres an all black frs and a red one thats already hooked up with tints and all black rims that looks amazing! im 25 had insurance since 18 with no accidents and my tc2 was 112 a month and my frs will be 102 a month through gieco..cant wait to get my frs
